Although it covers just 18 sq km (7 sq mi), Bequia is the largest of over 30 islands making up the Grenadines chain.Get a sense of the local culture at Port Elizabeth and The Oasis Art Gallery & Gift Shop. Get some historical perspective at Firefly Plantation Bequia and Hamilton Fort. There's still lots to do: look for all kinds of wild species at Old Hegg Turtle Sanctuary, discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour, learn about all things military at Bequia Maritime Museum, and explore the activities along Friendship Bay.
