The cultural hub of the district, San Ignacio neatly blends tourism and tradition, expats and indigenous peoples into a convincingly authentic, but modern and welcoming inland town.
Go for a jaunt from San Ignacio to Belmopan to see Blue Hole National Park about 46 minutes away. There's lots more to do: Head underground at ATM Cave Belize- Actun Tunichil Muknal, view the masterpieces at Creek Art Walter Castillo Home Art Gallery, explore the ancient world of Cahal Pech, and explore the galleries of Cappello's Art Gallery.

San Pedro is known for wildlife, adventure, and nightlife. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: explore the gorgeous colors at Hol Chan Marine Reserve, browse the exhibits of Belizean Arts, take the plunge with a skydiving experience, and kick back and relax at Secret Beach Belize.

Placencia

Once a humble fishing village, Placencia has been transformed into a leading tourist destination, with its focus primarily on outdoor activity and natural exploration.
Explore Placencia's surroundings by going to Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Preserve (in Dangriga) and Outback Trails (in Kendal). There's still lots to do: step off the mainland to explore Laughing Bird Caye National Park, take in the spiritual surroundings of Placencia Fellowship, see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour, and explore the galleries of Lola Art Studio.

In June, daily temperatures in Placencia can reach 37°C, while at night they dip to 27°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 1st (Thu) so you can catch the flight back home.
