The capital of Azerbaijan and the Caucasus' largest city, Baku brings the old and the new, the East and the West colliding together in a particularly diverse and changing city.
Baku Old City and Upland Park are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Palace of the Shirvanshahs and City Walls. The adventure continues: explore the different monuments and memorials at Martyrs' Lane, stroll around Philharmonic Fountain Park, examine the collection at Miniature Books, and enjoy breathtaking views from Maiden Tower.

Signagi or Sighnaghi is a town in Georgia's easternmost region of Kakheti and the administrative center of the Signagi Municipality. Get a sense of the local culture at Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino and Nekresi Monastery Complex. Step off the beaten path and head to Signagi City Walls and Alaverdi St. George Cathedral. Getting from Signagi to Tbilisi by bus takes about 2 hours. Other options: drive. November in Tbilisi sees daily highs of 14°C and lows of 5°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 26th (Tue) so you can travel to Yerevan.
