City of Light

A modern metropolis of glassy skyscrapers, waterside boulevards, and lush residential neighborhoods, Perth sits on the edge of the Swan Coastal Plain.
Relax by the water at Rockingham Beach and South Beach Recreation Reserve. Your inner history buff will appreciate Fremantle Prison and The Perth Mint. Change things up with a short trip to Point Peron in Rockingham (about 42 minutes away). There's much more to do: take an in-depth tour of The Nostalgia Box Museum, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Mary's Cathedral, look for all kinds of wild species at Rio Tinto Naturescape Kings Park, and look for gifts at Aspects of Kings Park.

Plan my trip to Perth with suggested itineraries provided by Inspirock.

Use the Route module to find travel options from your starting location to Perth. In January, plan for daily highs up to 38°C, and evening lows to 20°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 14th (Tue) so you can drive to Margaret River.
