The capital and largest city of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Port Blair acts as a gateway to the landmasses that lie in the Bay of Bengal.
Kick off your visit on the 9th (Wed): head off the coast to Ross Island, then steep yourself in history at Cellular Jail, and then make a trip to Rajiv Gandhi's Statue. Keep things going the next day: tour the pleasant surroundings at Ferar Beach and then kick back and relax at Munda Pahad Beach.

The imperial past feels present in Punakha, where an impressive fortress testifies to the heyday of this former capital of Bhutan.
On the 11th (Fri), take in the views from Punakha Suspension Bridge, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Punakha Dzong, then make a trip to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Chimi Lhakhang Temple. On the 12th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: admire the natural beauty at Royal Botanical Park, Lampelri and then make a trip to Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup nunnery.

Traveling by combination of flight and car from Port Blair to Punakha takes 6.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight, bus, and car. You'll lose 0.5 hours traveling from Port Blair to Punakha due to the time zone difference. Finish your sightseeing early on the 12th (Sat) to allow enough time to drive to Paro.
