You can drive from Tirana to Shkoder in 2 hours. Other options are to do a combination of shuttle and train; or take a train. While traveling from Tirana, expect a bit cooler days and about the same nights in Shkoder, ranging from highs of 13°C to lows of 3°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 3rd (Wed) to allow time to drive to Berat.

A rare example of well-preserved Ottoman style, Berat is a World Heritage Site.
