Although officially a separate city, North Vancouver is actually a suburban area of Vancouver on the north shore of Burrard Inlet, a shallow-sided fjord.

Step out of Victoria to go to Sooke and see East Sooke Regional Park, which is approximately 46 minutes away. The adventure continues: take in the pleasant sights at The Butchart Gardens, stroll around Beacon Hill Park, step into the grandiose world of Craigdarroch Castle, and examine the collection at Royal BC Museum.
