Vibrant and noisy, London is one of the world’s leading cities, an international capital of culture, education, fashion, music, finance, trade, and politics.
Natural History Museum and Westminster Abbey are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Do your shopping at Covent Garden and Parasol unit foundation for contemporary art. There's much more to do: explore the world behind art at National Gallery, don't miss a visit to Buckingham Palace, take an in-depth tour of The British Museum, and steep yourself in history at Tower of London.

Traveling from Singapore in December, things will get much colder in London: highs are around 11°C and lows about 4°C. World Heritage-listed Edinburgh combines ancient and modern in a uniquely Scottish atmosphere.
On the 10th (Tue), see the interesting displays at Royal Yacht Britannia, then take in the exciting artwork at Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, and then explore the historical opulence of Edinburgh Castle. On your second day here, don't miss a visit to The Real Mary King's Close, then view the masterpieces at Urbane Art Gallery, then learn more about the world around you at National Museum of Scotland, and finally view the masterpieces at The Red Door Gallery.

Fort William

Fort William is the second largest settlement in the Highlands of Scotland with around 10,000 inhabitants – and the largest town: only the city of Inverness is larger.Fort William is a major tourist centre, with Glen Coe just to the south, Aonach Mòr to the east and Glenfinnan to the west, on the Road to the Isles. Kids will enjoy Nature & Wildlife Tours and RZSS Highland Wildlife Park. For shopping fun, head to Fused and Light or All The Goodness Coffee & Bakeshop. Venture out of the city with trips to Glen Etive (in Glencoe Village), Highland Titles Nature Reserve (in Duror) and Glenfinnan Church (in Glenfinnan). There's much more to do: hike along Glencoe Lochan, take an in-depth tour of Glencoe Folk Museum, delve into the distant past at Castle Tioram, and contemplate the waterfront views at Loch Linnhe Picnic Area.

Ambleside is a town in Cumbria, in North West England. Head to Thornthwaite Galleries and The Fitzwilliam Galleryfor plenty of shopping.
