On the 10th (Tue), browse the exhibits of Royal Yacht Britannia, then take in the exciting artwork at Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, and then step into the grandiose world of Edinburgh Castle. On the 11th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: steep yourself in history at The Real Mary King's Close, admire the masterpieces at Urbane Art Gallery, then examine the collection at National Museum of Scotland, and finally view the masterpieces at The Red Door Gallery.

Fort William is the second largest settlement in the Highlands of Scotland with around 10,000 inhabitants – and the largest town: only the city of Inverness is larger.Fort William is a major tourist centre, with Glen Coe just to the south, Aonach Mòr to the east and Glenfinnan to the west, on the Road to the Isles. Get some historical perspective at Castle Tioram and Glenfinnan Church. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Fused and Light and All The Goodness Coffee & Bakeshop. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Fort William: Highland Titles Nature Reserve (in Duror), Glen Etive (in Glencoe Village) and Nature & Wildlife Tours (in Aviemore).
