You can drive from Zurich to Lucerne in an hour. Alternatively, you can take a train. In April, daily temperatures in Lucerne can reach 17°C, while at night they dip to 5°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Mon) early enough to drive to Grindelwald.

As one of the country's oldest ski resorts, Grindewald serves as a prime example of a cozy Swiss ski town.

Getting from Lucerne to Grindelwald by car takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: take a bus; or take a train. On the 7th (Thu), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can drive to Martigny.

Martigny is the capital of the French-speaking district of Martigny in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Villars Gryon Les Diablerets Bex and Lac de Tanay. Step out of the city life by going to Galeries Defago and Ovronnaz Ski and Snow. Located in the popular holiday region of Ticino, Lugano is the largest Italian-speaking town in Switzerland.
