The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
Get some historical perspective at Bled Castle and Bled Island. Step out of the city life by going to Vintgar Gorge and Mala Osojnica. When in Bled, make a side trip to see Lake Bohinj in Bohinjsko Jezero, approximately Bohinjsko Jezero away. There's lots more to do: take some stellar pictures from Ojstrica, pause for some serene contemplation at St. Martin's Parish Church, and admire the sheer force of Iglica Waterfall.
