The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
Take a break from the city and head to Vintgar Gorge and Ojstrica. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Bled Castle and St. Martin's Parish Church. Step out of Bled to go to Bohinjsko Jezero and see Lake Bohinj, which is approximately 34 minutes away. There's still lots to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Bled Island, get great views at Mala Osojnica, and take in the dramatic scenery at Iglica Waterfall.
