Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Step off the beaten path and head to Gornji Trg and Adventure Park. Escape the urban bustle at Rakov Škocjan Landscape Park and Cerknica Lake. Step out of Ljubljana to go to Vipava and see Wine Tours & Tastings, which is approximately 52 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: get engrossed in the history at National Museum of Contemporary History, capture your vacation like a pro with an inspiring photography tour, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Sts. Brussels, Belgium to Ljubljana is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. When traveling from Brussels in July, plan for a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Ljubljana: temperatures range from 32°C by day to 17°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 28th (Tue) early enough to go by car to Piran.

Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
Discover out-of-the-way places like Strunjan Nature Reserve and Church of St. Francis of Assisi. Get outdoors at Škocjanski Zatok Nature Reserve and Bananaway. The adventure continues: do a tasting at Vinakoper, admire the landmark architecture of Benečanka Venetian House, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Piran Minorite Monastery, and indulge in some personalized pampering at Fish Spa Piran.

Traveling by car from Ljubljana to Piran takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of train and bus. Traveling from Ljubljana in July, expect somewhat warmer with lows of 21°C in Piran. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 31st (Fri) early enough to drive to Kobarid.

At the very heart of picturesque Soca Valley, Kobarid delivers some of the most stunning views of Slovenia's highest peaks, as well as a chance to enjoy some exciting alpine rivers.
Kick off your visit on the 1st (Sat): see the interesting displays at Cheese Museum of Kobarid, get the lay of the land with The Walks of Peace, test your team's savvy at Escape Inc. Kobarid, then pause for some serene contemplation at St Mary of the Assumption church, and finally add some adventure to your tour with X Point. Keep things going the next day: trek along Krampež Waterfall, steep yourself in history at Ravelnik Open Air Museum, then sample the tasty concoctions at Thirsty River Brewing, and finally take a pleasant ride with Posestvo Blata.

Traveling by car from Piran to Kobarid takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. In July, Kobarid is little chillier than Piran - with highs of 29°C and lows of 15°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Sun) to allow enough time to drive to Bled.

The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
Get in touch with nature at Planica Valley and Iglica Waterfall. Step off the beaten path and head to Zelenci Nature Reserve and Ladja Bohinj Tourist Boat. Venture out of the city with trips to Planica Nordic Centre & Zipline (in Rateče), Kranjska Gora (Church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary & Tromeja -Triple border) and Bohinjsko Jezero (Golden Horn Fairyland & Church of St John the Baptist). There's lots more to do: Head underground at Pokljuka Gorge, appreciate the history behind Colnar - Boatman, duck into Galerija Mikame, and take some stellar pictures from Ojstrica.
