Venture out of the city with trips to Cathedral of St. George (in Modica), Noto (Palazzo Nicolaci, Chiesa Santa Chiara, &more) and Duomo San Giorgio (in Ragusa). There's more to do: steep yourself in history at Parco Archeologico Greco Romano di Catania and take an in-depth tour of Monastero dei Benedettini.
