The port city of Kochi has a rich and varied history that has left its mark on the look and feel of the urban area.
On the 8th (Wed), don't miss a visit to Ryoma Sakamoto Bronze Statue, enjoy the sand and surf at Katsura Hama, take in the spiritual surroundings of Chikurinji Temple, take in nature's colorful creations at The Kochi Prefectural Makino Botanical Garden, then stop by Hirome Ichiba, and finally steep yourself in history at Kochi Castle. Keep things going the next day: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Zenshibuji Temple, then learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Noichi Zoological Park of Kochi Prefecture, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Buraku-ji Temple Yakushido, and finally make a trip to Nagoya Chinka Bridge.

Singapore, Singapore to Kochi is an approximately 11-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of flight and bus. A relatively new city, Miyoshi encompasses six surrounding rural districts into one.
Kick off your visit on the 10th (Fri): indulge in Japan's hot spring tradition at some of the top local onsens, snap pictures at Iya Kazura Bridge, then explore the activities along Oboke Koboke, then steep yourself in history at Kotohira-gu, and finally admire the landmark architecture of Kotohira-gu Shrine Asahi no Yashiro. Keep things going the next day: appreciate the views at Shiozuka Highland and then make a trip to Kotohiragu shrine office.

Take a train from Kochi to Miyoshi in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of bus and taxi. In April, daily temperatures in Miyoshi can reach 20°C, while at night they dip to 11°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 11th (Sat) so you can go by car to Naruto.

A modern city and a major transport hub facing Seto Inland Sea, Takamatsu offers a bustling city lifestyle contrasted with carefully manicured, tranquil green areas at the foot of the mountains and the lava plateau.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Takamatsu: Naoshima-cho (Chichu Art Museum, Naoshima, & more), Tonosho-cho (Kasaneiwa (Piled Rocks) & Angel Road) and Shodoshima-cho (Michi-no-Eki Shodoshima Olive Park & Seigan-ji Temple). The adventure continues: go for a walk through Ritsurin Garden, walk around Tamamo Park, and take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Yashima.

Traveling from Naruto in April, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be little chillier in Takamatsu, with lows of 11°C.
