Seoul

— 12 nights
One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
For shopping fun, head to Myeongdong Shopping Street or Namdaemun Market. Get out of town with these interesting Seoul side-trips: Suwon (Suwon Jeil Church, Hwaseong Fortress, &more), Korean Folk Village (in Yongin) and Nami Island (in Chuncheon). Pack the 11th (Sat) with family-friendly diversions at Lotte World. The adventure continues: take some stellar pictures from N Seoul Tower, wander the streets of Bukchon Hanok Village, browse the exhibits of Gyeongbokgung Palace, and take in nature's colorful creations at Namsan Park.
