— 12 nights
One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Popular historic sites such as Gyeongbokgung Palace and Hwaseong Fortress are in your itinerary. Let the collections at National Museum of Korea and Seoul Museum of Art capture your imagination. Get out of town with these interesting Seoul side-trips: Yongin (Gyeonggi Children's Museum & Korean Folk Village), MMCA - National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (in Gwacheon) and Paju (DMZ Haemaru Village & The Third Tunnel). Plan for a day of cool, family-friendly fun on the 6th (Fri) at Icheon Termeden. There's still lots to do: wander the streets of Myeongdong Shopping Street, get to know the fascinating history of Cheonggyecheon Stream, walk around Namsan Park, and stop by Bukchon Hanok Village.
