Fort Augustus is a settlement in the parish of Boleskine and Abertarff, at the south west end of Loch Ness, Scottish Highlands. On the 9th (Sat), don't miss a visit to Tulloch Ringing Centre, contemplate the long history of General Wade’s Military Roads, then admire the sheer force of The Falls of Foyers, and finally contemplate the waterfront views at Loch Ness. On the next day, steep yourself in history at Fort Augustus Abbey, stop by Iceberg Glass, ponder the design of Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee Fountain, then pause for some serene contemplation at Cille Choirill Church, and finally take in the dramatic scenery at Falls of Glomach.
