A center of commerce and trade, the thriving city of Pereira was founded in 1863.
Go for a jaunt from Pereira to La Estrella to see Los Nevados National Park about 38 minutes away. Make the 18th (Sat) a stimulating day with a coffee and tea tour. The adventure continues: pause for some serene contemplation at Catedral de Nuestra Senora de la Pobreza and experience rural life at Dos Cosechas Coffee.
