Barletta is a city, comune and capoluogo together with Andria and Trani of Apulia, in south eastern Italy. Take a break from the city and head to Monte Vulture and La campagna andriese e la murgia. Get a sense of the local culture at Cattedrale di Trani and Castel del Monte. Explore Barletta's surroundings by going to Church of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina (in San Giovanni Rotondo), Cantine del Notaio (in Rionero in Vulture) and Santuario di San Michele Arcangelo (in Monte Sant'Angelo). While traveling from Ancona, expect a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Barletta, ranging from highs of 36°C to lows of 19°C. Known as the Florence of the South, Lecce is distinguished for its elaborate Baroque monuments.

Vieste is a town, comune and former Catholic bishopric in the province of Foggia, in the Apulia region of southeast Italy. On the 28th (Sun), make a trip to Baia delle Zagare.
