Tehran, the capital and one of the largest cities in the Middle East, sits in the foothills of a mountain range and stretches out for miles.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Darband and National Museum of Iran. There's still lots to do: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Damavand Mountain, take in the views from Tabiat Bridge, enjoy breathtaking views from Milad Tower, and see the interesting displays at Sadabaad Palace.

If you are flying in from Canada, the closest major aiports are Mehrabad International Airport and Imam Khomeini International Airport.
