A lovely town easily accessible from almost anywhere in the country, Sorrento overlooks the Bay of Naples and sits right on the Amalfi Drive.
Kick off your visit on the 15th (Fri): enjoy the sand and surf at Fornillo, then indulge your taste buds at Food & Drink, and then make a trip to Piazza Tasso. On your second day here, examine the collection at Museo della Carta, then get some thrills on the water with a speed boat tour, and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at St Francis Church and Convent.

Naples to Sorrento is an approximately 1-hour ferry ride. You can also take a subway; or drive. Traveling from Naples in November, Sorrento is a bit warmer at night with lows of 15°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 17th (Sun) so you can go by car to Capri.
