A history spanning over a thousand years, vibrant nightlife, and a mix of Georgian and modern architecture make Dublin a popular European tourist destination.
Dublin is known for historic sites, museums, nightlife, parks, and breweries & distilleries. Your plan includes some of its best attractions: steep yourself in history at Kilmainham Gaol, stroll around St Stephens Green, get lost in a book at The Book of Kells and the Old Library Exhibition, and get a sense of history and politics at Dublin Castle.

Plan my trip to Dublin with suggested itineraries provided by Inspirock.

Sydney, Australia to Dublin is an approximately 26-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight; or do a combination of bus and flight. The time zone difference moving from Australian Eastern Standard Time (New South Wales) to Greenwich Mean Time is minus 10 hours. Traveling from Sydney in September, expect Dublin to be a bit cooler, temps between 19°C and 10°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 3rd (Thu) early enough to go by car to Liscannor.
