Kick off your visit on the 1st (Sat): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Temppeliaukion Church, brush up on your military savvy at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, take in the spiritual surroundings of Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali), then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Helsinki Cathedral, and finally browse the eclectic array of goods at Market Square Kauppatori.

Larnaca, Cyprus to Helsinki is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and ferry; or do a combination of car and ferry.
