The country's capital and largest city, Berlin is a diverse urban center boasting a lively nightlife and countless things to do.

Formerly an official residence of the Prussian kings, Potsdam is surrounded by a series of interconnected lakes, parks, and palaces.
Get some historical perspective at Neues Palais and Schloss Cecilienhof. Step off the beaten path and head to Sanssouci Palace and Sanssouci Park. Explore Potsdam's surroundings by going to Luebbenau (Der Spreewald & Premium Kahnfahrten), Müritz Nationalpark (in Schwarzenhof b Kargow) and Gurkenradweg Spreewald (in Lubben). Gedser is a town at the southern tip of the Danish island of Falster in the Guldborgsund Municipality in Sjælland region. On the 24th (Mon), take in the waterfront at Nysted Havn, view the masterpieces at Galleri Heike Arndt DK, then pause for some serene contemplation at Nysted Kirke, and finally admire the striking features of Nysted Gl. Raadhus Med Klokkespil. Lubeck is the only northern German city with a largely intact medieval old town comparable to sites farther south.
On the 26th (Wed), get great views at Brodtener Steilufer, pause for some serene contemplation at St. Lorenz Kirche, then kick back and relax at Travemunde, then visit Lubeck Altstadt (Lubeck Oldtown), and finally see the interesting displays at Holstentor. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: get engrossed in the history at Oldenburger Wallmuseum, contemplate the waterfront views at Great Ploen Lake, and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at St.-Petri-Kirche zu Bosau.
