Saas-Fee is the main village in the Saastal, or the Saas Valley, and is a municipality in the district of Visp in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. Get some historical perspective at Mountaineers' Cemetery and Baroque Church. Step off the beaten path and head to Blumental Panorama Trail and Gorner Gorge. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Saas-Fee: Grindelwald (Maennlichen, Grosse Scheidegg, & more), Zermatt (The Matterhorn & 5-Seenweg) and Musee du safran (in Mund). Chur or Coire is the capital and largest town of the Swiss canton of Grisons and lies in the Grisonian Rhine Valley, where the Rhine turns towards the north, in the northern part of the canton. Museum-lovers will appreciate Bundner Naturmuseum and Ratisches Museum. Your inner history buff will appreciate Old Town Chur and St. Stephan Church. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Chur: Schloss Werdenberg (in Werdenberg), Eichhornchenweg (in Arosa) and Landwasser Viaduct (in Filisur).
