Gallipoli
— 12 nights

The Gallipoli peninsula is located in the southern part of East Thrace, the European part of Turkey, with the Aegean Sea to the west and the Dardanelles strait to the east.Gallipoli is the Italian form of the Greek name "Καλλίπολις" (Kallípolis), meaning "Beautiful City", the original name of the modern town of Gelibolu. Venture out of the city with trips to Eceabat (Kilitbahir Castle, Gallipoli Battlefield, &more), Sarkoy Beach (in Sarkoy) and Tekirdag (Tekirdag Museum, Barbare Vineyards, &more). On the 20th (Mon), spend a day delving into the history of Gallipoli National Park. The adventure continues: steep yourself in history at Anzac Cove, take an in-depth tour of Piri Reis Muzesi, step off the mainland to explore Kapidag Yarimadasi, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Erikli Sahili.
