You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.
Budapest is known for historic sites, spas, and nightlife. Your plan includes some of its best attractions: admire the striking features of Hungarian Parliament Building, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Stephen's Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika), contemplate the long history of Liberty Statue, and take in the views from Szechenyi Lanchid.

When traveling from Warsaw in March, plan for somewhat warmer days in Budapest, with highs around 54°F, while nights are about the same with lows around 34°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 11th (Wed) to allow time to drive to Vienna.
