More than 20 million people call Cairo their home and, as soon as you set foot in the sprawling metropolis, it's evident they make it crowded and chaotic, but also exuberant and charming.
Get out of town with these interesting Cairo side-trips: Giza (Pyramids of Giza & Great Sphinx) and Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids (in Saqqara). Originally a small fishing town on the Red Sea coast, Hurghada developed into Egypt's premier beach destination thanks to its year-round sunny weather and world-class dive sites.
Kick off your visit on the 19th (Tue): browse the different shops at Senzo Mall, test the waters at Planet Spa at Baron Palace Resort Sahl Hasheesh, then look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas, and finally stop by Evolution Egypt.
