The capital and largest city of Serbia, cosmopolitan Belgrade sits on the confluence of the Sava and the Danube rivers.
Explore hidden gems such as Ada Ciganlija and Walking tours. Step out of Belgrade to go to Petrovaradin and see Petrovaradin Fortress, which is approximately 1h 15 min away. There's lots more to do: wander the streets of Skadarlija, steep yourself in history at Kalemegdan, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Sava Temple (Hram Svetog Save), and get a taste of the local shopping with Knez Mihailova.

Beirut, Lebanon to Belgrade is an approximately 4-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of ferry and bus. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from Beirut to Belgrade. When traveling from Beirut in October, plan for a bit cooler days in Belgrade, with highs around 20°C, while nights are much colder with lows around 9°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 21st (Mon) to allow enough time to travel to Kotor.

On the 22nd (Tue), take in the waterfront at Porto Montenegro, appreciate the extensive heritage of Martinovic Palace, then contemplate the waterfront views at Bay of Kotor, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at R.K.C. Gospa od Škrpjela. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: appreciate the extensive heritage of City Walls, then see the interesting displays at Cats Museum, then steep yourself in history at Stari Grad Kotor, and finally explore the historical opulence of Kotor’s Castle Of San Giovanni.

When traveling from Belgrade in October, plan for a bit warmer days in Kotor, with highs around 26°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 11°C. Along the Dalmation Coast, the city of Dubrovnik has become famous for its pedestrian-only Old Town surrounded by fortress walls, and its historical heft has earned it World Heritage Site status.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Cavtat Old Town and Cavtat Seaside Promenade. Step out of Dubrovnik with an excursion to Cavtat Cemetery in Cavtat--about 34 minutes away. There's much more to do: awaken your taste buds at some of the top wineries in the area, steep yourself in history at The Franciscan Church and Monastery, examine the collection at War Photo Limited, and go for a stroll along the water at City Harbor.

You can drive from Kotor to Dubrovnik in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Traveling from Kotor in October, expect somewhat warmer with lows of 15°C in Dubrovnik. Cap off your sightseeing on the 27th (Sun) early enough to travel to Rovinj.
