A huge and vibrant city, Chicago is home to top-notch theaters, shops, museums, galleries, and restaurants.
Kids will enjoy The Art Institute of Chicago and Shedd Aquarium. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Chicago: South Bend (Grotto of Our Lady Lourdes, Basilica of the Sacred Heart, &more) and Chapel of the Resurrection (in Valparaiso). And it doesn't end there: get curious at Museum of Science and Industry, take in the waterfront at Navy Pier, indulge in some culinary diversions at a local gastronomic tour, and get to know the resident critters at Lincoln Park Zoo.

Durham to Chicago is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from Durham to Chicago. In March, Chicago is a bit cooler than Durham - with highs of 45°F and lows of 30°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 6th (Tue) so you can go by car to Disney.

Disney is a town in Mayes County, Oklahoma, United States. Change things up with these side-trips from Disney: Bowling Ball Yard Art (in Nowata) and Natural Falls State Park (in West Siloam Springs).
