Known as "Hollywood North," Vancouver boasts one of the largest film/television industries in the world, second only to Los Angeles and New York.
Step off the beaten path and head to Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site and Britannia Mine Museum. Do some cultural sightseeing at Fort Langley National Historic Site and Lighthouse Park. Venture out of the city with trips to Deep Cove (in North Vancouver) and Crescent Beach (in Surrey). There's much more to do: wander the streets of Granville Island, explore the different monuments and memorials at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, and walk around Lynn Canyon Park.

If you are flying in from Canada, the closest major airports are Vancouver International Airport and Victoria International Airport.
