While Luxembourg City boasts the shiny headquarters of several European institutions and EU offices, it is also home to a beautiful old town that's designated as a World Heritage Site.
Start off your visit on the 14th (Mon): stroll the grounds of Luxembourg American Cemetery Memorial and then get to know the fascinating history of Le Chemin de la Corniche. On the next day, take in the dramatic natural features at Casemates du Bock, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Notre Dame Cathedral (Cathedrale Notre Dame), make a trip to Barrio Grund, then contemplate the long history of Chateau de Vianden, and finally take some stellar pictures from Streikdenkmal.
