A popular resort town offering a good range of tourist trips, activities, and amenities, Seminyak houses numerous tour companies providing excursions into the jungles of Bali.
Ujung Water Palace and Taman Tirtagangga are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Blue Point Beach and Melasti Beach. Get out of town with these interesting Seminyak side-trips: Pantai Sanur (in Sanur), Ubud (Threads of Life, Saraswati Temple, &more) and Tanah Lot Temple (in Beraban). Situated about 18 km (11 mi) east of Ubud, Tampaksiring represents one of Bali's first pre-colonial kingdoms, and also houses one of the biggest and most important temples in the whole of Indonesia.
Start off your visit on the 20th (Sun): take in the spiritual surroundings of Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple, take in the spiritual surroundings of Tirta Empul Temple, and then explore the ancient world of Mount Kawi.
