Byurakan, is a major village in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia, located on the slope of Mount Aragats. On the 5th (Wed), step into the grandiose world of Aghtamir Fortress, make a trip to Tegher Monastery, then explore the historical opulence of Amberd Fortress, and finally don't miss a visit to Vahramashen Church. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: look for all kinds of wild species at Kari Lake, then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Aragats, and then pause for some photo ops at Armenian Alphabet Monument.
