Get some historical perspective at Casa Batllo and Vila Vella (Old Town). Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Girona Cathedral (Catedral) and Ciutat Vella. Get out of town with these interesting Barcelona side-trips: Patronat Call de Girona (in Girona) and Parish Church of Sant Roma (in Lloret de Mar). The adventure continues: walk around Parc Guell, take a stroll through Barri de Gracia, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Templo del Sagrado Corazon de Jesus, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Sant Pau del Camp.

You can fly from Lisbon to Barcelona in 5 hours. Other options are to drive; or do a combination of bus and train. The time zone changes from Western European Time to Central European Time, which is usually a 1 hour difference.
