Nestled in a valley between snowcapped peaks, Innsbruck evokes visions of a winter wonderland.
On the 21st (Tue), fly down the slopes at Stubaier Gletscher, then fly down the slopes at Bergisel Ski Jump, then get engrossed in the history at The Golden Roof (Goldenes Dachl), and finally take in panoramic vistas at Town Tower (Stadtturm). On the next day, hit the slopes at Ski & Snowboardschule Innsbruck, then take in the awesome beauty at Klettersteig Innsbruck, and then pause for some serene contemplation at Dom zu St. Jakob.

Birmingham, UK to Innsbruck is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and train; or do a combination of car and ferry. On the 29th (Wed), take in the awesome beauty at Hohbalmen, then fly down the slopes at Zermatt-Matterhorn Ski Paradise, and then get great views at Gornergrat.
