Singapore, Singapore to Hualien is an approximately 12-hour combination of flight and train. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of flight, bus, and train. Cap off your sightseeing on the 23rd (Mon) early enough to go by car to New Taipei.

Xinbei, also known as New Taipei City, stands as a newly founded part of the wider Taipei metropolitan area, stretching up from the capital to the island's northern coast.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall and Leofoo Village Theme Park. Step out of New Taipei with an excursion to National Palace Museum in Shilin--about 42 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: get a taste of the local shopping with Chiufen (Jiufen Old Street), wander the streets of Ximending, appreciate the history behind National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, and learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Taipei Zoo.

Drive from Hualien to New Taipei in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or do a combination of bus and train. In November, daytime highs in New Taipei are 29°C, while nighttime lows are 22°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 27th (Fri) so you can catch the train to Taichung.

Known its good weather, Taichung boasts an interesting set of cultural attractions, including many temples showing the development of religious architectural styles in the area and forming focal points for most tours of Taichung.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Sun Moon Lake and National Museum of Natural Science. Change things up with these side-trips from Taichung: Ren'ai Township (Hehuanshan National Forest Recreation Area & Cingjing Veterans Farm) and Yuchi (Wenwumiaohoushan Park & Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village). Traveling by train from New Taipei to Taichung takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In November, plan for daily highs up to 30°C, and evening lows to 20°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 1st (Tue) to allow enough time to travel back home.
