Nerja is a municipality on the Costa del Sol in the province of Málaga in the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain. Get some cultural insight at Church of El Salvador and Mirador del Cementerio Redondo. You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Playa El Salon and Playa de la Alberquilla. Change things up with these side-trips from Nerja: Bodegas Bentomiz (in Sayalonga) and Ermita de Nuestra Senora de los Remedios (in Velez-Malaga). The adventure continues: kick back and relax at Playa de la Cala el Canuelo, Head underground at Fundación Cueva de Nerja, tour the pleasant surroundings at Playa del Molino de Papel, and make a trip to Balcon de Europa.

Start off your visit on the 5th (Sat): contemplate the long history of Plaza de España, then take a stroll through Barrio Santa Cruz, then enjoy breathtaking views from Torre Giralda, and finally take some stellar pictures from Catedral de Sevilla. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: pause for some serene contemplation at Eglise du Divin Sauveur, take in the views from Puente de San Bernardo, admire the striking features of Metropol Parasol, then steep yourself in history at Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza, and finally explore the galleries of Royal Alcázar of Seville.

Drive from Nerja to Seville in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and train; or take a bus. In September, daytime highs in Seville are 33°C, while nighttime lows are 20°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 6th (Sun) so you can go by car to Merida.
