Andalucía’s thousand-year-old city, Córdoba, was once the capital of both the Roman Empire and the Moorish Kingdom, representing an alluring mix of cultural and political history.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Casa de las Cabezas- Patios de Leyenda and Palacio de la Merced. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Casa Andalusi and Iberfauna. Change things up with these side-trips from Cordoba: Bodegas Lagar Blanco (in Montilla) and Lucena (Church of San Mateo & Santuario de Nuestra Senora de Araceli). Traveling from Cordoba in June, you will find days in Malaga are a bit cooler (84°F), and nights are about the same (65°F). Start off your visit on the 21st (Sun): stroll through Playa de Bolonia, then kick back and relax at Punta Paloma, then see Off-Road Tours, and finally enjoy the sand and surf at Playa de Valdevaqueros. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: explore the landscape on two wheels at Bicicletas Francisco, kick back and relax at Playa de Zahara, then don't miss a visit to Lighthouse at Cape Trafalgar, then stroll through Playa de Zahora, and finally pause for some photo ops at Monumento al General Copons.

On the 23rd (Tue), appreciate the extensive heritage of Mirador de San Nicolas, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Iglesia de la Encarnacion, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Iglesia de la Villa, then make a trip to Plaza de Isabel La Catolica, and finally admire the landmark architecture of Royal Chapel of Granada. When traveling from Tarifa in June, plan for somewhat warmer days in Granada, with highs around 86°F, while nights are slightly colder with lows around 61°F.
