Ankaran is a town in the Municipality of Ankaran, located near the border with Italy, in the Littoral region of Slovenia. Start off your visit on the 30th (Wed): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower, admire the landmark architecture of Praetorian Palace, then Head underground at Škocjan Caves, and finally visit the horses at Lipica Stud Farm.
