Inverness, often described as the Gateway to the Highlands, is a thriving commercial and industrial center.
Start off your visit on the 9th (Sun): make a trip to Chanonry Point. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 10th (Mon): get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour and then learn insider's secrets on a distillery tour.

Stockholm, Sweden to Inverness is an approximately 7.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of train and bus. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from Stockholm to Inverness. Expect a bit cooler weather when traveling from Stockholm in June: highs in Inverness hover around 19°C, while lows dip to 9°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Tue) so you can travel to Thurso.

Thurso is a town and former burgh on the north coast of the Highland council area of Scotland.

Start off your visit on the 14th (Fri): appreciate the views at Glencoe, identify plant and animal life at Highland Titles Nature Reserve, and then make a trip to Ballachulish Slate Quarry.
