Rjukan is a town and the administrative centre of Tinn municipality in Telemark, Norway. Kick off your visit on the 22nd (Sun): go from sight to sight with Gaustabanen, then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Gaustatoppen, and then pause for some serene contemplation at Heddal Stave Church. Keep things going the next day: see the interesting displays at Norwegian Industrial Workers Museum, get advice or help at Visitor Centre Hardangervidda National Park, and then hit the slopes at Krossobanen.
