Step out of Noosa to go to Yandina and see Wappa Falls Astronomical Observatory, which is approximately 34 minutes away. Brisbane to Noosa is an approximately 2-hour car ride. You can also take a bus; or do a combination of train and bus. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 15th (Sat) to allow time to drive to Caloundra.

You can drive from Noosa to Caloundra in an hour. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of train and bus. In August, daytime highs in Caloundra are 25°C, while nighttime lows are 11°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 22nd (Sat) early enough to go by car back home.
