An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.

You can drive from Rovaniemi to Inari in 4 hours. Other options are to take a bus; or do a combination of bus and flight. Traveling from Rovaniemi in December, Inari is little chillier at night with lows of -17°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 8th (Tue) so you can travel to Levi.

When in Levi, make a side trip to see Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park in Muonio, approximately Muonio away. Spend the 9th (Wed) on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort.
