Sydney, Australia to Tokyo is an approximately 13.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from Sydney to Tokyo. In June, Tokyo is somewhat warmer than Sydney - with highs of 30°C and lows of 22°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 23rd (Tue) to allow time to take a train to Kyoto.
