Take a train from Tokyo to Nara in 4 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or drive. In June, plan for daily highs up to 81°F, and evening lows to 72°F. You'll have a few hours on the 25th (Thu) to wrap things up before traveling to Hiroshima.

In June, daily temperatures in Hiroshima can reach 79°F, while at night they dip to 68°F. On the 27th (Sat), you'll have the morning to explore before heading off to Kyoto.
