Get some cultural insight at Senso-ji Temple and Tokyo National Museum. Head to Ginza and Asakusafor plenty of shopping. There's much more to do: take a stroll through Odaiba, engage your brain at National Museum of Nature and Science, admire the natural beauty at Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, and don't miss a visit to Harajuku Takeshita-dori.

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to Tokyo is an approximately 18.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of flight, bus, and train. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 6 hours traveling from Jeddah to Tokyo. Prepare for colder weather when traveling from Jeddah in April: high temperatures in Tokyo hover around 22°C and lows are around 12°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 8th (Mon) so you can travel to Kyoto.

The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.
Get some historical perspective at Nijo Castle and Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine. Gion and Kiyomizu-dera Temple are good opportunities to explore the local culture. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Kyoto: Nara (Nara Park & Todaiji Temple Cultural Center). There's much more to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kinkaku-ji, steep yourself in history at Sanjusangendo Temple, make a trip to Heian Shrine, and admire the landmark architecture of Jishu Shrine.

Take a train from Tokyo to Kyoto in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and bus; or drive. In April, daytime highs in Kyoto are 22°C, while nighttime lows are 11°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Thu) so you can travel to Tennoji.
