In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
On the 7th (Sat), explore the different monuments and memorials at Monumental Cemetery, then see La Casa Maledetta, then pause for some serene contemplation at Duomo di Milano, and finally don't miss a visit to Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.

Singapore, Singapore to Milan is an approximately 15.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train. The time zone difference moving from Singapore Time (SGT) to Central European Time (CET) is minus 7 hours. Traveling from Singapore in December, expect Milan to be much colder, temps between 9°C and 1°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 7th (Sat) early enough to take a train to Venice.

Virtually unchanged for the last six centuries, Venice is actually a group of islands made famous by a series of canals, bridges, monuments, piazzas, and narrow pedestrian lanes.
On the 8th (Sun), contemplate the waterfront views at Canal Grande, snap pictures at Ponte di Rialto, then stop by Oreficeria Boscolo Gioie, and finally get to know the fascinating history of Piazza San Marco. Here are some ideas for day two: steep yourself in history at Doge's Palace, snap pictures at Ponte dei Sospiri, admire the landmark architecture of Basilica di San Marco, then admire the masterpieces at Peggy Guggenheim Collection, and finally take a stroll through Campo del Ghetto.

Take a train from Milan to Venice in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of flight and train. In December, daily temperatures in Venice can reach 11°C, while at night they dip to 1°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 9th (Mon) to allow enough time to take a train to Florence.

Start off your visit on the 10th (Tue): explore the world behind art at Gallerie Degli Uffizi, take in panoramic vistas at Campanile di Giotto, take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, then get to know the fascinating history of Piazza del Duomo, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at The Baptistery of St. John. Traveling from Venice in December, expect nights in Florence to be about the same, around 4°C, while days are somewhat warmer, around 15°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 11th (Wed) early enough to catch the train to Rome.

Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Colosseum and Piazza Navona are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Via Condotti and L'Artigianato. There's much more to do: wander the streets of Trastevere, explore the ancient world of Palatine Hill, pause for some serene contemplation at Church of St. Louis of the French, and steep yourself in history at St. Peter's Basilica.

Take a train from Florence to Rome in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or fly. December in Rome sees daily highs of 16°C and lows of 4°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 14th (Sat) to allow enough time to take a train to Naples.

Naples is the capital of the Italian region Campania and the third-largest municipality in Italy after Rome and Milan.
