Known as one of the greatest small cities in the world, Amsterdam charms visitors with its cool and cozy atmosphere.
Get a sense of the local culture at Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum. Head to The Mauritshuis Royal Picture Gallery and Leidsepleinfor plenty of shopping. Step out of Amsterdam with an excursion to Zandvoort aan Zee in Zandvoort--about 36 minutes away. There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at Anne Frank House and shop like a local with De Vishal.

London, UK to Amsterdam is an approximately 3.5-hour flight. You can also take a train; or do a combination of train and flight. You'll lose 1 hour traveling from London to Amsterdam due to the time zone difference. Expect a daytime high around 11°C in March, and nighttime lows around 1°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 15th (Sun) early enough to travel to Berlin.
