Located on the sea, Aarhus blends a world city with a small-town feel. Home to a young population, the city has a reputation for producing internationally known pop and rock musicians.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Jelling Mounds, Runic Stones and Church and Moesgaard Museum. We've included these beaches for you: Moesgaard Strand and Ballehage Strand. Step out of Aarhus to go to Kolding and see Koldinghus, which is approximately 1h 05 min away. There's still lots to do: take a stroll around Dokk1, tour the pleasant surroundings at Strandbaren, and take an in-depth tour of Aarhus Vikingemuseet.

When in Copenhagen, make a side trip to see Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Humlebaek, approximately Humlebaek away.
